One of my favourite places to spend time. Lots of old buildings from around Denmark (Germany and Sweden too) to show life in the olden days. Most date several 100 years back. Interiors are time typical too. Lots of volunteers and employees in time typical dress are around to share their knowledge. They welcome kids, grown ups and group alike. I've spent many hours here already and still haven't seen it all. There are small plays put on all through summer (included in the entrance fee). Entrance fees might seem steep but bring a child and save money (fees are cheaper when you bring children). Read moreReally lovely way to experience a bit of Danish history, with well maintained authentic houses dating hundreds of years back. We only spent two hours in the park but could have easily stayed to explore for a full day.
