It's and ok little house in the middle of, an interesting plot of land that was one day a long time ago owned by rich people. But since it was a hunting lodge, it is probably not in line with most of Denmark's current popular vegan green lifestyle choices - it's lucky that getting there is a nice nature walk.
My main complaints - they built the house too far away from the sea - what is with Danes being against building some ocean front properties. Also if you look through the windows of the locked place ... It looks like the architect forgot to place stairs into the original design - so placed them in front of half the windows looking out over the deer sex field. -maybe inside they had a nice little pamphlet explaining the history of this poor decision, but I could not get inside to find answers to this burning question - back to the deer sex field though -(Yes the deer mate just outside the hunting lodge within shooting distance 😂) I am not sure if that is an act of revenge for what the original owners did to their ancestors but .... Bold move and I'm here for it. Overall a nice walk for a humorous conversation about which Danish landmark is weirder - this or the little mermaid and close to Bakken for some after walk pølse,...

In addition to its natural beauty and wildlife, Dyrehaven is also home to several historic landmarks. One of the most notable is Eremitageslottet, a beautiful Baroque palace that was built in the early 18th century by King Frederik IV. The palace is now open to the public and features art exhibitions and other cultural events throughout the year.
Overall, Dyrehaven is a unique and fascinating destination that combines natural beauty, wildlife, and history, making it a must-see attraction for anyone visiting the...
Read moreIncredible place and highly recommended! There will be a lot of walking involved so wear something comfortable and warm (specially in the evenings). A great way to be close to nature and animals. Lots and lots of deers roaming around and it’s great to see them not fenced off. It’s around 1.5km walk from the car park to the lodge/castle/building. Beautiful views all around including large fields, a golf course and a forest with thick trees. I visited around sunset and discovered some incredible views but also realised that it’s ideal to go early in the day as you will need a good few hours to thoroughly enjoy this...
