The garden is well manicured and beautiful with plenty outdoor activities, a little butterfly farm and the castle has impressive painting collections. Plenty of picnic areas and we definitely learn some new plants. My young children loves the pirate ship theme playground. We had coffee and sandwiches from the cafe which was fine. I'd avoid the kids menu, much better value for money for the normal sandwich. We paid half the price for entrance (Dkk62.50 for adult) and that's worth it. If it's full price, then I'll probably only consider it when my kids can play at the "Go Fly".

Very nice castle and park. The road before the Casyle is full of cherrytomater blossoms in May. The castle garden is full of Tulips in May. A bit expensive entrance to the garden for 150 Danish krone for each adults. I am not sure if other currencies are acceptable or not. But you can pay by card. Pensionist and kids have cheaper prices. There is also an adventures park in the complex to have some excitements and nice moments. Please keep the area clean.

Great experience. Visited on 5 May, so the tulips were just about perfectly in bloom. The collection of portraits was impressive, Shakespeare, Bacon, Newton among many others. Also enjoyed lunch at the brewery, and had a few climbs on the "Go Fly" park. Even the chapel was interesting with its cartilage baroque style. Would definitely recommend a visit on a clear weather day.

Gavnø Slot is very impressive with the beautiful gardens and an amazing variety of flowers and plants, but you definitely also pay for it. For what you actually get, the entrance is to the pricey side, I'd say. There is a pirate themed swing park for the kids as well as an option to buy a treasure map that'll get them a wee prize for finding the secret password. I think the treasure map would be best for kids that can read and on behalf of my kids(who are not that old yet), I was quite disappointed in the treasure map. The cafe looks nice, but is also rather expensive. You are allowed to bring your own lunch to enjoy at picknick tables scattered around in...

Gavno slot refused to refund our pre purchased tickets for the tulip festival.

We had to cancel because our flight/trip was canceled due to Covid-19.

When everyone (hotels, accommodations, events, museums...) make an effort in regards to the situation, this place is THE ONLY ONE WHO REFUSED to refund us!

Shame on you ! You lost visitors for next year event !

I just hope all danish venues and places are not that rude ans it doesnt reflect a mentality of...
