Gavnø Slot og Park — Attraction in Naestved Municipality

Gavnø Slot is very impressive with the beautiful gardens and an amazing variety of flowers and plants, but you definitely also pay for it. For what you actually get, the entrance is to the pricey side, I'd say. There is a pirate themed swing park for the kids as well as an option to buy a treasure map that'll get them a wee prize for finding the secret password. I think the treasure map would be best for kids that can read and on behalf of my kids(who are not that old yet), I was quite disappointed in the treasure map. The garden is well manicured and beautiful with plenty outdoor activities, a little butterfly farm and the castle has impressive painting collections. Plenty of picnic areas and we definitely learn some new plants. My young children loves the pirate ship theme playground. We had coffee and sandwiches from the cafe which was fine. I'd avoid the kids menu, much better value for money for the normal sandwich. We paid half the price for entrance (Dkk62.50 for adult) and that's worth it. Gavno slot refused to refund our pre purchased tickets for the tulip festival.

We had to cancel because our flight/trip was canceled due to Covid-19.

When everyone (hotels, accommodations, events, museums...) make an effort in regards to the situation, this place is THE ONLY ONE WHO REFUSED to refund us!

Shame on you ! You lost visitors for next year event !
