The science museum is free to enter and you could certainly have a great time in here. The museum seems to be more targeted for a younger audience than for adults who aren't parents. Parents will probably have a good time here with their childrens. I have not seen all of it and left early as I felt like it wasn't meant for me but for kids. Therefore I gave a 3 / medium rating as I didn't saw everything.
The place is wheelchair accessible and bad walkers, their is an elevator for those who needs it too. There are several staircases throughout the building and rooms each with their own display. Some rooms are harder to access for wheelchairs users.
Make sure to visit this place if you have children or early...
Read moreAbsolutely lovely museum, and entrance is free! Very interactive with something to interest everyone, young, elder, and in-between. Excellent integration of multiple intelligences, there are kinesthetic activities, storytelling (from a tree!), music, herb gardens, and so much more. It’s really a whole experience, with a simulation of being beneath the fjord, even a used toy exchange area and a cute gift shop 👌Traveling with a baby, I appreciated the seating options throughout the museum.
My 3-year old enjoyed this more than Legoland, the deer park, and all of the other attractions of Denmark. He especially loves the watering cans where he could learn through playing with water. Thank you to the museum staff for this...
Read moreOur 4 years old daughter has hard time with new places and new situations, and can be scared of the dark. A very lovely employee at Økolariet gave our daughter a flashlight to help her feel more comfortable, and when that didn't work, she showed her what is downstairs in the "dark" through the security cameras, so our daughter won't be as scared. Absolutely amazing service, I have never experienced so much understanding and such great treatment anywhere else. Furthermore, it's a really great experience for both kids and adults, it is clear that a lot of effort and thought went into the creation of this exhibition. Would definitely recommend...
