Cap Cana Ciudad Destino — Attraction in Higüey

No! No! No! No!

Me and my family, 4 adults and 4 kids, we were staying at an all inclusive resort at Punta Cana, we heard of this wonderful place Cap Cana, so we took a day and travel over there. From the beginning to the end was total frustration😞. Went out and found that Big Cap Cana sign and thought we were already there, went through and the place was like abandoned. Few stores and restaurants, a little hospital and a veterinary. Also few apartments remodeling. Just pass that little ghost town, we found several cars and fallowed them, just to have to turn back😒 because they told us that was the entrance for employees… No signs, a very bad mood employee. Not polite at all, (guess that he has told so many ppl the same thing) But put up a few signs will help a lot!

Went to the other entrance and we saw a visitor center, but no other car was going so we just fallow just to turn us all around to the visitor center😖. And find out that the charge to enter the place! 😭 also $50.00 per person was like a lot! Why make so much advertising and not letting the ppl know before hand that you charge! And that much! End up not going, I mean it must be beautiful but $400.00 dollars was too much for tourists. We can find better use for those...

I thought the property was definitely as advertised and Ana was very attentive and accommodating. It was a good location. I Loved the pool area good for grilling. The only thing that I might suggest is just having a few more dishes. Such as storage bins or Tupperware, a Wine opener would have been cool. Other than that it was really a great experience. The grocery store was really nice to have in proximity to the property. And there was another one that's not too far away if you wanted a bigger store. I was there during the hurricane lost power and the water went out but we enjoyed every...

They closed the gates and we stuck there. They requested us to pay a bribe of $350 to open the gates. Had to brake it to escape. Then they were chasing us on a car with a shotgun. Tried to kill or smth. But we drove away

They charge 69$ for this cinote which is a lot. You can go to other similar places and pay $4/pp. its kind of a scam
