Nickelodeon Place — Attraction in Higüey

The hotel is nice but the service needs to get much better as well as the entertainment for the kids.

The Spacewalker restaurant has terrible food and the lady that helped us didn’t even know what was on the Menu.

The Italian and burger restaurant are really good though !

They have a coffee and ice cream place that is delicious , we were there daily.

The water park is really cool. They didn’t have the big slides open at the time we were there so my kids got over it very quickly but it’s nice. They do a slime at the water park everyday, that’s probably the best part for the kids. My girls loved it.

The room service is terrible ! We used it twice and both times we had to wait over an hour for it and they missed something every time which they promised they would bring it immediately and it never made it.

You have to pay to get slimed which is crazy. The Nickelodeon hotel in Mexico has a slime night that is absolutely amazing !! And their food, service and facilities are ten times better than the one in DR. Their Nick club, Nick team and entertainment were outstanding. We were there 7 days and every day was better than the last.

Here The Nick Team members dont even smile when they are dancing, the host always looks super serious . And the ladies at the Nick club have zero interest in playing or entertaining the kids.

This hotel might be 5 stars category but it doesn’t feel like it. Needs major updating and revamping.

Going around and telling people to rate this place 5 star to give them stickers for the kids is NOT an appropriate style. The place is small so don’t be fooled by photos, the umbrellas are tiny and they will have four beds sharing one so you are forced to book the VIP area for charge, service is slow everywhere from transportation to getting food/drinks. Characters are like one or two a day and it’s not going to be Spongbob “because you will have to pay to have breakfast with him” again the place has potential but no the way they are managing the experience of it for us wasn’t...

The lady’s (Franchesca, natividad, Alicia, Mailene, Maria, Carla, Giselle, Rosaura, and there was one more! ) at club nick were amazing with my kids! my son cried every time family open play was over and they always reassured him we could come back and even gave him & my girls a balloon so he wouldn’t cry! Definitely check club nick out...
