Cana Bay Golf course — Attraction in Higüey

I had such an excellent experience. I have nothing to complain about aside from them not refilling the bottles of alcohol inside the rooms that come standard and are supposed to be replaced every 2 days of our 4-day stay...That part did not happen. Also, they do not provide wash clothes just hand and body towels. The food was awesome. You will have a great variety to choose from. The pools were so nice and plenty of different pools to choose from depending on your mood. The hotels guest were a vibe and we got along great with strangers from all over the world. Other resorts guest literally would come there to join one of the many themed parties. Our 4-day stay was a breeze and we didn't have to worry about much of anything. They even offered to have our transport pushed out since our flight home wasn't for a few hours from the regular bus leaving and much earlier than our checkout, which would've meant we would be on the bus for at least 2 hours. Overall I will be going back to this specific hotel every time I visit Punta Cana. I highly suggest you do...

fun course! Be sure to bring your own golf balls though because they charge $13.00 for a cheap sleeve of balls! We wish we had brought some.

The main reason is that ONCE you go off the fairway, your golf ball is LOST! It is a JUNGLE off the fairway! Heavy, thick vegetation and no way to find your golf ball if you go off the fairway! Very nice to have drinks and food free (need to tip good to come back!).

We heard there were people that will sell you bags of golf balls as you walk the course, but no one approached us with that offer until we were on the 18th tee! a little too late as we were on our very last golf ball! We lost about 6 balls, the sleeve had 3 and a few maintenance workers had some in their cart they gave us or we would have to go back to the club house to purchase more....BRING GOLF BALLS!!

This was my first trip with my grandbabies out of the country. I had high expectations of this resort. However as soon as we arrived things went south quickly! When we asked for some sort of compensation for all the things that went wrong. They out right refused to do so. I wasn't expecting much for compensation but for someone with a disability and not able to enjoy the lounge chairs on the beach or near the pool to enjoy my grandbabies it was just heartbreaking when they wouldn't make any reasonable accommodations for us especially when they were the one's at fault in the first place. There were just too many things that went wrong to name. I certainly will be going back to this country to visit again, but certainly NOT at this resort!!. Very sad indeed, but we made the best of our trip and left several times and spent our time out...
