We went here just before dusk on a Friday in February 2020. It was spectacularly beautiful. After parking you walk for about 3 minutes down a rocky slope (not difficult even for the unathletic) and you are at a beach hemmed by cliffs of gorgeously stratified rock. You cross a brief zone of beautiful rounded stones to a narrow strip of superfine sand the color of cafe con leche. Close in, the water is a milky ice blue (not clear, because of the sand i think). A couple of hundred feet out the water is a darker blue and clear enough to see your toes. There were only 6 other people on the beach.
We returned the following morning around 10am. There were only 3 other people on the beach. The waves were playful and the water felt lovely...

I would just say there’s just so much wind because of where it’s located that the sand actually hurt quite a bit hitting me when I was laying on the beach. It was hurting quite a bit that I had to get up. Wasn’t much of a relax beach but more of a go into the water. Which was cold at the time even though it was. 90+ degrees. Probably due to the fact that the cliff provides so much shade to the water only some of the water is heated. Water was not clear. Might possibly go again but there is a toll to even access the beach...
