Parque Alado is a wonderful place to spend a morning without leaving the city. The bird exhibits are impressive, with detailed narratives about the birds' rescue and rehabilitation. The staff are friendly and attentive, especially with children. The park is always clean and orderly, with the farm section standing out for its cleanliness. Jardín Alado es un lugar de rescate de animales y especialmente aves improntadas. Tiene una vista maravillosa y hay un restaurante para poder disfrutar la estancia. Hay distintos espacios en los que se puede disfrutar de la fauna del lugar. Entre los animales rescatados están un felino ocelote que fue rescatado y que cuenta con su propio territorio para movilizarse. También hay animales de granja como conejos y pavos. Además hay una hermosa llama que te da un besito si te acercas y tortugas que se esconden en el agua. El show de las aves rapaces es muy interesante porque se puede conocer a lechuzas, búhos y otras variedades de aves de esta familia. También hay un curiquingue y se puede mirarlos de cerca y tomarles fotos; estas aves son todas ellas rescatadas, cuando tienen problemas físicos o psicológicos no se liberan, pero si están en condiciones adecuadas pueden liberarse. El Jardín Alado también tiene loros y pericos. Es un excelente espacio para visitar con niños y si quieren un lugar cercano a la ciudad de Quito. Hay parqueadero y el precio de acceso es $10.
