Astronomical Observatory of Quito — Attraction in Itchimbia

This place is located right in the middle of one of the most iconic parks of this city, Quito. This observatory is as old as over 100 years, when the city was awakening to the modern times. Maybe this is not a modern facility but it has its own charm, so deep in your mind you can move to yourself back to those early years when the 20th century was the dawn of the new times. Easy to get here, public transportation is accessible from and to this place from almost any place in Quito.
