Lluna — Restaurant in Itchimbia

I cannot think of any occasion someone would want to come here. Decoration reminded me of far relative’s grandma’s 90th birthday party, some 20 years ago. Views would have been great if it weren’t for the bright fluorescent light which reflected on the windows. Music seemed to be playing from youtube because we’d hear advertisement after every single song. There seemed to be a family party going on downstairs and a bunch of children were screaming and running across the upstairs restaurant. Food wise, nothing impressive. Shrimp smelled, good old ecuadorian fries that are sold everywhere, and they served ketchup and mayo. Price cannot be justified even with the view. We only stumbled upon here based on $$ and google reviews, but should be $$$...

Really overpriced. The food wasn't anything special, the side dishes, was exactly the same!!! Al of we has a Smash potatoes and a mediocre salad. We was a group 9 persons. And all of was got the same side dices. The price for a dish was from $17-$36. For that price everyone spected better food. The place was in bad shape. And the only beautiful part was to see the colonial Quito at night. But they even do that wrong, they put absurd Christmas lights on the windows. So the ruin the view with the reflection of this absurd Christmas lights on windows. I do not recommend at...

The view is fantastic, the service is pretty good, but the food is okay at best. Ours was dry and not seasoned so well. They had only one cheap wine on hand, even though the menu lists a number of different options. There are other restaurants in the are with a similar view. Perhaps they have better food? We had a fun time regardless, but it could have been so...
