Wonderful place! I really don't understand why it is so underrated but this should definetely be present in one of the top places for tourists. The area is really nice, green, there is a playground for kids and the whole place is really family friendly. In addition the staff are extremely polite yet they value your privacy unlike other places in Cairo. Maybe this is because they are servicemen for the air force but their English is flawless and are always ready to assist you. The exhibition itself has almost everything - from old British trainers through first jets, french and soviet helicopters, fighter planes from both USA and USSR, Soviet bombers & transports, Czech trainers, French fighters, even locally build Egyptian trainer-fighters. The place is amazing. Located in the centre of cairo. The ticket price for egyptians is 30 egyptian pounds. Children under 3 free entrance. From 3 to 6 tickets are 10 Egyptian pounds. Parking is available inside the museum against 10 egyptian pounds.
