Disappointing Experience at a Once-Great Restaurant

I have been a regular at this restaurant for 20 years, always enjoying its romantic atmosphere, warm lighting, and pleasant music. However, my visit tonight with my fiancée was a complete disappointment.

The lighting was far too bright, the music was unappealing, and the overall environment had lost its charm. The staff was speaking loudly, making it difficult for us to have a conversation. When we politely asked the manager to adjust the lighting to its usual warm ambiance, he refused.

To make things worse, the service was extremely poor. The waiter was rude and unprofessional, treating us with little respect. The entire staff seemed eager for us to finish, constantly checking our table every five minutes as if rushing us out, despite us being the only guests in the restaurant.

The only positive aspect of our visit was the food, which remains good. But sadly, the poor service and lack of atmosphere have ruined what used to be a great dining experience. I truly hope the management takes action to restore this place to its...

Yesterday was a sad experience. Usually this is one of my favourite branches. My order is the usual; spring rolls were oily, noodles quantity was less than usual, kanpao chicken tasted different, we ordered stri fry chicken with 2 sauces, usually we have them aside from the sauces and we dip them but yesterday he put all of the chicken in one sauce and presented my the other sauce in a bowl, was I supposed to dip already saucy chicken in another sauce???? And the only dessert they had was ice-cream only. The table behind me had a similar experience, I think the chef is changed. No foreigner's like it is used to be. And the VAT was more than expected.

We went all the way there after we learned the Nasr City branch had closed and it was worth the trip to go all the way there. The food was spectacular! Cheers for the amazing chef. We thanked him personally for the food.

We started with soups, the Hong Kong soup in particular was amaziiing. I didn't expect it to taste so good and creamy. The Trio Mix appetizer was next and it was lovely, especially the fried mushrooms. 👌

For the main course, we ordered beef barbecue and chicken with cashew along with fried rice and veggie noodles. I don't know how their beef and chicken can be so tender and light. ❤️

It got a little bit more expensive but you get good quality...
