Me and my husband were having a perfectly great time until we were rudely interrupted by a random security guard loudly yelling from far away, "GET UP!!” "SIR, THIS IS NOT APPROPRIATE!!” This was him telling us it’s not allowed to lay down and stretch our backs on the grass!! Excuse me, but what kind of park doesn’t allow its visitors to lay on their backs to enjoy the sky view and label it “inappropriate”???? But believe it or not, the absurdity didn’t end there as the guard continued screaming, "PICNIC BLANKETS ARE PROHIBITED TOO !!”. This is where I lost it!! The grass is obviously all wet, so without our waterproof picnic blanket, how on earth are we supposed to have a little rest??! I’ve been to so many parks in different cities in Egypt and abroad, and I have never heard of such ridiculous rules or been yelled at by a security guard!!! I mean, if such unfathomable rules exist, you guys should state them clearly on boards spread everywhere in the park instead of surprising your visitors, yelling at them, and embarrassing them!!!! Huge disappointment!!! A perfectly good picnic...

I was not impressed with Central Park. I mainly wanted to go for the scent garden. I imagined a garden if nice-smelling flowers, but it was just a line of holy basil bushes in the middle of the walkway. The tea garden was not a garden at all, just two cafes with overpriced salads. The meditation garden seemed oddly out of place because who can possibly meditate when they're surrounded by restaurants and people (assuming you go when it's active). We thought we saw a playground, but it was something else...not really sure, maybe a mini-games place??? It wasn't open, nor were any of the mini restaurants that lined one path. Mind you, it was 2 in the afternoon. Honestly, I think they should change the name because I had something very different in mind, but...

It's such a beautiful place for everyone of all ages and genders. Pros: Free of charge which is necessary for residents to be exposed to nature - Well designed & divided into different mini parks of other names - Different activities could be made especially for kids - Toilets are available - Different types of cafes and restaurants are available - Close to the grand mosque of Madinaty - Nice lighting system - Bench Seats are distributed in different places across the park - water passages and fountains make the place wonderful - Free Parking on the main street (With no valets Thank God !) Cons: All in all, this place could be considered a perfect place for everyone whether single, married with family, or a group of friends to spend a wonderful day. Simply, Highly...

Loved central park, free access, free parking, and open area with fresh air. I loved the mosque there as well. It's one of the best sounds I've heard. You can go there for a picnic or something like that, it has a variety in restaurants and café. Suitable with families, especially with children
