LA POIRE CAFE — Restaurant in Cairo

Very disappointing experience at La Poire Café.

The food quality was extremely poor. The fries were burnt, the mozzarella sticks clearly microwaved and falling apart, the chicken tenders dry, and the vegetables looked off and unappetizing. The entire lasagna tasted like it had been defrosted (not just the meat, but the whole dish) and it had a really weird, unpleasant flavor. The cordon bleu arrived cold, and the crispy chicken pasta had the breading falling off the fried chicken in a weird, very unappetizing way, with the breading sticking awkwardly to the pasta. The chicken was also cold and poorly cooked.

Nothing on the entire table felt appetizing from the moment the food arrived.

Even worse, the food took over 40 minutes to arrive, and when it finally did, everything felt rushed, reheated, and carelessly prepared.

Perfect as it should be of La Poire! It was a great idea of this successful series of Pattesserie to establish cafes where you can enjoy having your favorite drink with your favorite dessert. Pros: Beautiful view facing the water passage and fountains & the park - Quick Service - Tasty Coffee - Variety of seats indoors & outdoors based on your taste - Modest Prices Cons: I think it would be better to make WiFi service available for customers. Conclusion: Highly Recommended...
