I was pleasantly surprised by this place! It's a spacious complex with plenty of space to relax. You can choose to stay on the "public" side or pay extra for exclusive areas.

The ocean is open to the public; don't be fooled by the "exclusive" bean bag sign. This area is generally empty because there's a "VIP extra $$$" sign for the rest area, but there's no charge for entry to the beach. Take advantage of the fact that this area is kept free.

For my budget, drinks are expensive to buy for several hours. So I recommend carrying your prepared drink in a thermos or bringing enough water to keep you hydrated.

The only problem we had was that day there was no water to rinse off the salt water. Only water to wash our hands and use the restrooms.

Explore the entire area, enjoy the warm water, and be careful of the sand where you step, as there are still animals in their natural habitat. I traveled...

TWO WEEK EGYPT ITINERARY 🇪🇬 📌 SAVE this for your Egypt Trip DAY 1 - Giza (1 night) Fly into Cairo airport & make your way to stay at @xurustays_ pyramid view air bnb (see my post) to watch the sunset & sound and light show from your jacuzzi! DAY 2 - Cairo (1 night) Check out & walk to the pyramid complex, visit 9 pyramids lounge for lunch, then head across the Nile to Cairo. Check into your accomodation in Cairo & head out to the famous Koshary restaurant ‘Koshary abo Tarik’ for dinner. DAY 3: Check out at midday and enjoy the Egyptian museum, visit the bazar & enjoy downtown Cairo. NIGHT BUS TO SIWA 10:30pm (1 night) DAY 4 - Siwa (1 night) You may be thinking one night in Siwa is crazy but you get two full days as the night bus arrives in the morning & leaves late the following day! First day visit Shali castle, oracle temple, mountain of the dead & Fatnas island for sunset. DAY 5: Visit salt lakes, cleopatra lake and the desert. NIGHT BUS TO CAIRO 7pm (1 night) DAY 6 - Hurghada (3 nights) Arrive into Cairo on the night bus and catch a second bus from CAIRO - HURGHADA (7 hours) Check into your hotel in Hurghada. DAY 7: Relax at hotel/beach - trust me after a busy few days & two night buses this will be much needed🧘‍♀️ DAY 8: Daytrip snorkelling and visiting orange bay. If you stay at BenBen visit Philae temple that afternoon. DAY 13: daytrip to Abu Simbel, visit the Nubian village late afternoon. DAY 14: travel back to Cairo - We caught the night train back to Cairo but it also makes sense to fly, you can then catch a connecting flight home or stay one more night in Cairo before leaving! ✈️ 3 weeks would be perfect as then you could visit: Alexandria, Sharm el Sheik & the white desert or have time to cruise part of this trip 🌞 Let me know if you have any questions 😊✨
