I went to numerous beaches but this one is by far the best in Matruh. The chalets are huge, convenient and very close to the beach. The water is lovely and crystal clear, people who work there take good care of the beach but the only issue was that there were some rocks at certain areas inside, very annoying for people who like to swim in shallow waters like myself. -Average 300 EGP per night. Mid August. -4 chairs and an umbrella cost us 50 EGP. We had an id -usually given to you by the chalet owner.- -DO NOT DRINK TAP WATER bring your own or buy it mineral water. -Taxi drivers are blood suckers. If you found a decent person ask for their phone number, most of them would happily approve. -Beware of mosquitoes...

And there is a possibility to rent an apartment right infront of the beach for not that expensive. The only downside would have to be that it is a bit far from the town and I barely saw any shops...
