We went to this private (paid entrance) beach with the diver club of my hotel.

Actually I wanted to go on a dolphin snorkelling trip, but the weather conditions were unfavourable for boat trips (one ship sank that weekend).

This place is a bay with calm water, reachable by bus.

It was crowded because many people had the same idea, to visit this calm bay in the stormy weather conditions.

The coral is amazing, I saw a big diversity of fish and also a tortoise.

All in all, a great experience, the only downside was that it was crowded.

4 star rating for the amazing coral, wonderful nature accessible even to me, an average swimmer with simple snorkelling equipment...

This is an amazing beach by nature. Why I am giving 1 star because this is a total ripoff. You pay 15 euro to get in (if you’re not a guest of the Hilton who gets it for free). And they tell you beach towel is included, but once inside its extra 5 euros. Snorkeling glasses: 5euro, vest 5 euro, fins 5 euro. If you want to go snorkeling - pay for a snorkeling trip instead.

All bars and ”restaurants” had european prices or more. I’ve been everywhere in Egypt but never saw such a capitalistic and money-hungry place like this. It really ruins the experience to be treated like a bank.

Also: someone by the toilet expecting a tip. Whats next: pay...

Breathtaking! The most beautiful beach I’ve been to in Marsa Alam so far. Amazingly beautiful coral reef with big variety of fish, which you can see even from above the water. We got to see 4-5 turtles and to swim with some of them - it was amazing! We went as early as 8:00 am (almost before the staff was fully boarded) so it was quite and very peaceful, however around 10:00 am it got very busy. We left around 5:00 pm only because the place was closing :( If you’re planning to go then my advice is to plan a full day. Some arranged tours are planned for 2-3 hrs, which is not enough to enjoy such...

Absolutely love this place! First we saw large sea turtles eating grass. Then we explored the coral reefs where I saw more species of fish than I ever imagined. I kept staring at the diversity in color, shape and movement of fish. Throughout the day I went back down to the same reef several times, each time seeing more of what life offers. The beach itself is happening, with several shops and cafes. We didn't have issues with staff but that could be because we're arabs.

Place Amazing. Guys from restaurants recommend delicious drinks with alkohol or without. Very beautiful place. Unfortunately I could not find a turtles. But my mom and aunt had more luck. They have seen even 2 turtles🙃 Fishes are awasome. This time flag on left side was green but right with red flag. Too windy.
