Where should I start... I went on holiday with my family for vacation to take my mind off things after graduation from bachelor's and hotel resort looked very nice from the photos but reality was quite different to be honest... On arrival youre welcomed by drink and beautiful gardens. Later on as we got our room (159) things started to go downhill very quickly. 3 days after arrival my body started to get covered by some bites and even at night you start to have problems with sleeping. Guess what a surprise that I already suspected, bed bugs... quite a lot of them, which I caught on photos. The staff came personally to the room for inspection and gladly believed me (live form of evidence as I was bitten really badly) has offered to change our room. Honestly I hoped they would offer some type of laundry service and buy of new suitcase, as it was evidently the Hotel management mistake. But worse came 3 days before our flight back home, as I started to suffer from some type of GI infection or food poisoning, still have problems today at home.... Toeards the Scubadive guys who offer their scuba diving experience, the scuba diving is great, but otherwise? It's quite a SCAM, if they wanna sell you trip for 2 for 100$ and then after they create underwater photos they charge you more 70$, without telling you ahead?? When the focus is given to the exterior of the hotels premises, the "lazy river and close slides" were quite a shame ride and disaster, as your knees got blue coloured from the bottom material of the pool, lake. Also the dining room toilettes were horendous, the cleaning was probably done 1x a week, as I found one or two of them dirty from someone elses feces... Otherwise the staff workers, especially cleaning guy Kareem was such a lovely help after our room changed and besides the animation team and other hotel users, which were pro-russian oriented and if you were from other country, they acted quite angrily tpwards you, the outdoor surroundings of the hotel were beautiful. If You can, go probably somewhere else. Not going here probably again.

Just spent a week at the Monte Carlo hotel, on arrival hotel is beautiful stunning grounds and perfectly manicured gardens and lawns. Inside the hotel is just the same beautiful decor and an amazing artwork. The rooms are large and well equipped with free non alcoholic mini bar in room. The rooms are a little dated but are clean and comfortable with large tv. Initially had room 186 a second floor with sea view, however had few issues with hot water so was given option of three other rooms. We chose 286 which was ground floor overlooking the pool and sea with no issues. The cleaners do a fantastic job and no issue is a problem. The food at the hotel was very good , the main restaurant did breakfast lunch and evening meal all with plenty of options. Thank you to the egg chef who made marvellous scrambled eggs for breakfast. There is also a further smaller rest called The Waves which does very nice food and drinks. Highly recommend the burgers for lunchtime great view over the ocean. There are several other restaurants including Chinese which was good and a Lebanese which looked good but we didn’t try that. The Indian restaurant in the hotel was superb great head waiter who made it very special good quality tasty food. Numerous bars the main one near reception had great views and Hany the barman making the best cocktails and made our holiday so special. The pool is large clean and staffed by life guards all the time. Animation team are a good bunch who try but don’t pressure you to take part. The staff in the hotel make such a difference they are superb friendly helpful and a great laugh, happy to tip during the holiday. My only issue with the hotel was that I do like a nice beach and unfortunately this hotel doesn’t have one. It’s a rocky outcrop overlooking the sea, what it does have though is a jetty where at the end you can use snorkels and swim with the huge amount of tropical fish absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would gladly return.

Beautiful hotel. Booked the honeymoon package and so stayed as a royal guest over the Christmas and New Year period. The service was so good, I really did feel like royalty! The gardens were pristine and views from our room were spectacular! Everything around the hotel, at all times, was picture perfect! Could make use of the royal lounge which was great. The food was always good. Chef Hermina pulled out all the stops. I even told him how much I loved a certain dish and he made it just for me the next day! Service was amazing from the manager Mohammad who took great care of us, whether it was during meal times, booking a restaurant for dinner, or having snacks and drinks brought to us on our own private section of beach. Nothing was too much trouble. He was very attentive and personable, as was Ayman, manager of the Waves Restaurant. Had some great chats with both of them. Had major issues with our rep at the hotel, but apart from that everyone I interacted with was great. Made use of unlimited shisha. Not sure why they had the shisha area in the same place as the kid's disco. The first time I went for shisha, after ten minutes the disco for kids started which was very weird, spoiled the vibe and wouldn't have been great or healthy for the kids either. Overall it was a brilliant stay. Service was excellent and they really pulled out all the stops to make us feel special. Felt like a royal guest. The new year's eve celebrations were fantastic too. The entertainment and buffet they laid on for us was a sight to behold! Was very sad to leave, but no doubt will be back, wearing a white band as a royal guest again! Memories will last a lifetime!

The hotel is very nice and beautiful, ideal for those looking to relax in a calm atmosphere. The design and cleanliness are excellent – rooms are cleaned daily, and everything looks well-maintained. However, the entertainment is very limited and mostly focused on Russian guests. The same music plays every day, and it’s mostly Russian songs. There’s no music around the pool during the afternoon, which makes it very quiet – too quiet, sometimes. It would be great to hear a mix of music (some pop or international tracks), not just Russian or techno. Entertainment overall could use more variety and energy. On the bright side, the hotel staff is very friendly, and the service is great. A special mention goes to Sayed, the restaurant manager – he is very kind, helpful, professional, and truly the best person we met in the hotel. One important tip: do not take a taxi from the hotel – it’s much more expensive. It’s better to walk just outside the hotel and take a regular taxi from there. For example, you can get to the Old Town for about $4, while the hotel taxis ask for much more. Overall, it was a nice holiday, especially for relaxing, but the entertainment needs improvement. If you’re not Russian, you might feel a bit left out. Still, the hospitality and calm environment make it worth visiting. However, if you’re coming for the beach, this may not be the right hotel. The entry to the beach is difficult and not easily accessible, which can be disappointing if you expected a classic beach experience.

I was in this hotel for a week (in Royal Monte Carlo). It was my third visit of Egypt and I must say, that this hotel was the best. Hotel room was clean, food was delicious. But there are some misleading informations about the advantages of stay in Royal Monte Carlo. It's true, that Royal Monte Carlo got private beach. But there is problem, that this private beach doesn't have any entrance to the sea, so you have to go through beach of Monte Carlo to the sea. Royal Monte Carlo got private dinning room, I was ok with it there, but my girlfriend had problem, that there was poor variety of meals apart from choices in the main restaurant of Monte Carlo. I don't care about animation teams in hotels, I just want relax, but interesting was, that except Egyptian animators other animators didn't speak English. Only Russian. I can't speak russian and I expect from hotel personnel to speak multinational language. There was sometimes problem with Ukrainian people who are there main quests, really hard drunked, doing mess on the beach and in Skybar. Anyway it was my best vacation in Egypt and I must write, that Egyptian staff of hotel was really professional (reception, bars, doing rooms). I recommend to visit this hotel.

Monte Carlo Sharm Resort is an absolutely fantastic place in the mid, to upper tier in Sharm El-Sheik, or Sharm, as everyone calls it. It has a service level that rivals that of The Four Season (possibly because most of the staff comes from that very hotel), yet manages to step away from the slightly pretentious feeling both Seasons and Hyatt might succumb to. Kids will have an absolute blast in one of the many pools, and if you stay for one week, they won't have time to grow tired of any restaurant, as you could opt for a new one - every day! Stay for two weeks, and re-visit your favourite! There is obviously many ways to enjoy The Monte Carlo, but if you really want to go all-in, the Royal package, does just that. Say hello to your own private beach, that comes with your own private Butler, and every thing else you didn't knew you missed! It is truly an exceptional package, fit for any royal Prince or spoiled movie star... As I mentioned at the start, this place can thank it's amazing staff for it's excellence, and you will learn to love them as well, just remember that the better you treat them, the more they will spoil you! Have a great vacation, if you're going to The Monte Carlo, I know you will!
