Antiguo Cuscatlan Central Park — Attraction in Antiguo Cuscatlán

I LOVE THIS PLACE. my favorite time of the year was Christmas when the big tree in the middle of the town would be lit with lights, unfortunately the tree was sick and had to be taken down. (plans are that it will be replaced) This park is to find típical Salvadoran food everywhere you see. There are other restaurants as well. One of the safest places to go at night in El Salvador, Antiguo Cuscatlán makes for a great environment to just walk and enjoy some good food. Definitely a must see, but be patient with parking or be willing to walk to get to the heart...

Large open area in the town center. It was Christmas in full swing with lights everywhere, full concert, and many, many vendors selling everything from incense to light up toys. Everything was cheap but suddenly got more expensive if they realized you were a tourist of course, but you can't blame folks for wanting to make a living. Very recommendable going to farmer's market which takes place every Sunday, all day long, you will be able to chose and buy from a very selected variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, seafood, dairy products.
