A popular spot to enjoy one of the best views of San Salvador from above. We came in the evening and it was the closest to a night market/pupusa aisle we experienced during our short trip.
The car ride takes about half an hour with traffic to reach. When dropped off, head to the viewpoint to admire the gorgeous city from above, with lights in the evening. Throughout the area are small shops that sell souvenirs and street food, though most weren’t open on our Friday evening surprisingly.

Read more▪︎ Ahora es más fácil cruzar la calle enfrente del mirador ya que hay agentes de tránsito facilitando el paso, pero es de reorganizar las aceras porque cuesta caminar por ahí. ▪︎En la parte del centro donde se forma como un techito deberían poner iluminación suave para la gente que se va a tomar fotos con las botargas y los cosplay, y hace falta un área para sentarse dentro del lugar. ▪︎Una de las lamparitas estaba quebrada creo, o no servía. ▪︎Tiene buen clima, a veces muy frío, por lo que recomiendo chamarras gruesas y llevar gorros. ▪︎En el area hay: venta de artesanías como tazas, bolsos, llaveros, lapiceros, pinturas, etc., hay diversas pupuserías, restaurantes, y también el parque balboa.
