Haukilahden uimaranta — Attraction in Helsinki sub-region

Haukilahti beach (Mellsten) is a really nice city beach. It consists of a classic half moon sandy beach with a long quay and an approx. 500 m long line of small sandy coves and rocks. At the other end of the beach is a fenced beach for dogs. The main beach area has all essential services and several quite good restaurants, ice cream kiosks and terraces. beautiful view of the sea, feels like being abroad. But unfortunately the waters are infested with yellow pine pollen.
