The best ski resort closest to Helsinki. Several well groomed slopes which suits all skill levels. There are three different areas as well which are interconnected by cat tracks. Apres ski options are not impressive but good for anyone looking to improve their skills.

Excellent ski resort. 3 hour drive from Helsinki. Free parking. We were there in January 2024 and the day pass was 52€ plus €8 for the card. The north slopes were still closed but the western slopes were entertaining enough.

We were slightly disappointed, but it was mostly because of bad luck. In another case, I would likely have given 4/5, and my experience was worth 2/5, so 3/5 it is. The reasons are that we came right after Easter. They apparently start preparing to close the season at Easter, and that means they close almost all places to eat and half the slopes. I had looked through the web for as much info as I could, but did not anticipate this. The slopes that were open were in good condition, and the environment was nice. It was nevertheless really disappointing about the closing. It was difficult to find places to eat dinner too. In Jämsä, there seemed to be only fast food places available. There was only one proper restaurant in the area (Patapirtti, which was actually excellent). The place was calm at this time. There were no queues. There was one restaurant at the slope, but the only thing it served during weekdays were sandwiches and hot dogs. I probably ate three hot dogs in one day, and was not very happy about it. I understand that the ski resort can't keep everything open for a very small amount of customers, but I was a customer that did pay the full price and got very little for that money... They could at least have served something proper at the slopes restaurant. It would have been the least they could have done. I still had a good time because I had a good cabin with a whirlpool bath outside and good company, but I left with a bitter taste of the bad aspects. I recommend going...

Alright ski experience and worth a visit if you are in a 3 hour radius. Most slopes are more suited to intermediate and advanced skiers.

👍 LIKE 🔸️ Easy drive, 3+ hours from Helsinki or Turku 🔸️ Decent artificial snow that holes up under plus temperature and and hot sun 🔸️ Number of slopes and snow parks 🔸️ Sufficiently challenging red & black slopes 🔸️ Fun kids' / Entertainment park with toboggan and snow racers 🔸️ Many lifts 🔸️ Short wait in lift queues 🔸️ Lifts are functioning 🔸️ Large beginners' area with travelator. 🔸️ Large parking area 🔸️ Simple but functional ski shop

😔 DISLIKE 🔸️ No warm room and hard to find a common area for free storage for bags and shoes 🔸️ Food costs too much, not good quality. Limited to mostly fast food 🔸️ Overcrowded entrance, ski rental 🔸️ Limited toilets 🔸️ Too few blue and green slopes 🔸️ Too long stretches of flat areas to travess between lifts 🔸️ Almost impossible to find a table outdoors at meal times 🔸️ Although there are a number of slopes, there is little variation to the...

We came here for the first time, it was really nice, the weather was amazing and the slides were in pretty good condition. We have never skiied before, and the whole place seemed really great, except that it wasnt all that glorious.

There aren't a lot of places to go for beginners, and it was crouded. The prices are just too high, mainly because there arent any competition in thos place.

The food was from the lowest point. It was horrible. The buffe place was just awful. The only place where you got food that was ok, was a fast food place, which disgusted me. Thats not the kind of food kids should eat, and i saw that it was full of families and children. There could be way better customer service. Overall i had a nice time, but it left me with a sour taste from the whole experience. I wouldnt come here again. I suggest that this place needs some improvement, and some touch of...
