Icebreaker trip was truly disappointing. We sail out into the sea, only to be informed that we were unable to do the ice floating activity due to strong winds and thin ice. Understood that safety was of concern here, but given the condition of the sea (which I could even see the thin ice with my naked eyes), why would you even allow reservations during this period and still eventually sail out? The after sales service was also subpar as we were only given a hot drink as compensation and a similar tour deeper into the sea, which really wasn’t of much value since we had been in the sea for some time. That aside, when we landed, we had to do a tour around Sampo. Choice was not exactly given as some of us who did not wish to join the tour ended up having to wait for 30 minutes in the bus for the rest to complete their tour. In this situation, shouldn’t the customers be given a choice on whether they want to do the Sampo tour instead of being stuck with no alternative to continue with their own travel plans? A more appropriate way to do PR recovery would be eg to offer us a complementary 360 experience where customers get a choice to do that or part ways thereafter / some form of refund. Honestly not worth the 400 euros and more...

I was on the dot when I went, so as soon as Snow Castle was open, there was no queue. I was early. It was perfect because the room was all mine, so I was freely taking photos inside Lumiliina. It's not so big of a room yet worth visiting. I also commend Toni, the receptionist that day, who was on duty. He was hospitable and provided info about Kemi. He showed me the restaurant where we all can dine in. I got to see the sunrise around 8am-ish. This place is lovely in the winter! There was not enough snow yet when I visited, so there was nothing to build yet outside. The perfect visit would be January to Feb to see it! Thank you, oni, for your...

We have visited the snow castle in 2007 and it was fab, this year thought we would visit again. Total disappointment, a few ice sculptures, one broke, total waste of time and money. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. Never again. Shut it down and stop pretending it's something it's not, you are ripping off customers. 10 euros for that was robbery. We travelled for 4 hours to visit as previously it was amazing. I have wasted a day of my life I'll never get back. If your reading this, plus other reviews,...

We visited the Snow Experience today and had a wonderful time. The space is small, but the ice sculptures and the ice slide were a big hit. The staff was incredibly friendly and great with kids, which made our visit even more enjoyable. Since we were the only visitors, we could stay longer than expected – about 2 hours! Our little one had so much fun, especially with the slide and the ice castle. For us as a family, it was definitely worth it.

UPS! I forgot to read the reviews first :( I had experienced before, in other places some ice sculptures so I had some expectations. This one is a tall dark room not too wide. A room, a bar, a tower, a wall… and that is about it. Very disappointed. Time to visit: five to ten minutes. Not worth it. Also, it confuses me me why there the cold installation is working and making a lot of noise, while outside are temperatures below zero..
