Koli Ski (Panorama Lift open in summer) — Attraction in Pielinen Karelia

I had an amazing experience. My partner and I got a day pass for the lift and rented both ski and snowboard equipment.

We had never skied in our lives, so we also booked a two-hour lesson with Laura, and that was the highlight of our holiday. She was fun and helpful, and we were able to go down a hill by the end of the lesson.

Small ski resort (even for Finnish standards) but the tracks are demanding and diverse. Nothing for beginners but fun for the more experienced snowboarder or skier. The seater could and should be faster while the anker drags you up a very steep part.

Uncomplicated rental but a bit pricey (like the ski pass).

Great slopes, steep as they come in Finland.

Customer service at the lower center was great, prices are ok. I wanted to change my 3h pass to whole day, i needed to only pay for the difference - great flexibility.
