Well worth the visit - very well run park with a wide variety of tortoise and turtles all in very good natural enclosures and plenty of shade too as it’s hot in August as you’d expect. Loved seeing the young ones just a few weeks d too. Would definitely recommend if you like either species. We came from a cruise, but had pre booked a luxury Mercedes van taxi via VTC Taxi company using their app; this was far less costly, quicker and less hassle than the cruise trip as met us right outside the terminal building which is literally 5 mins walk from the cruise ship gangway. I don’t speak a lot of French but I do know the word for stupid and I’m also pretty sure she asked if I had eyes in my head. So I recommend, if you have a snack at the end of your visit, just leave your trash lying on the picnic tables to avoid having your experience ruined. Then she can yell after you’ve left, and you can continue on with all your happy turtle...
