Well worth the visit - very well run park with a wide variety of tortoise and turtles all in very good natural enclosures and plenty of shade too as it’s hot in August as you’d expect. Loved seeing the young ones just a few weeks d too. Would definitely recommend if you like either species. We came from a cruise, but had pre booked a luxury Mercedes van taxi via VTC Taxi company using their app; this was far less costly, quicker and less hassle than the cruise trip as met us right outside the terminal building which is literally 5 mins walk from the cruise ship gangway. Then we called when we were ready to return, got a drink in the shade and taxi was there within 15 mins. It was like our own private tour for a fraction...

Excellent venue and very informative. The park itself is very attractive and has lots of tree cover. The layout is well thought out and included very good explanations about each species in multiple languages including english. They obviously love tortoises and have a huge range from around the world! Being spring they were quite frisky which should make for interesting answers when children ask their parents - but what are they doing maman? We spent around 90 minutes here but could have spent less or more time. The 14euro entry for adults seems a lot but is actually good value when you see just how much effort has gone into this park.

There is a kiosk and picnic tables. Plenty of...

It was an extremely beautiful park and we really enjoyed it and even learned quite a bit. Unfortunately, there was a sad ending as the woman at the snack bar yelled at me in French in front of my son and all the guests and called me stupid for putting my rubbish in the wrong bin. I don’t speak a lot of French but I do know the word for stupid and I’m also pretty sure she asked if I had eyes in my head. So I recommend, if you have a snack at the end of your visit, just leave your trash lying on the picnic tables to avoid having your experience ruined. Then she can yell after you’ve left, and you can continue on with all your happy turtle...

We really enjoyed visiting this park with our baby. It's of course a perfect place for families but also adults can have very happy moments here. The park is full of tortoise of many tipes and sizes (our baby loved the baby tortoise!). Every type is explained and contextualised, and all of the tortoises are at the open here. We stayed also for launch. There is a little bar/restaurant with outdoor seats and hee you can eat also your food as a pic nic (not necessary to buy at the restaurant). The price for a single day access is not high and in my opinion value for money. 😉
