CORSICA QUAD — Attraction in Ajaccio

We took the sunset tour in early October - Boris is a truly awesome guide - he ensured our safety thoroughly and easily, made sure we were ready, built up the ride as we went and always kept an eye on us even through the later parts. He makes it even more fun and really this guy knows his region, the local people, the landscape, the outer area and all about Corsica and exudes passion and natural personality. The quads are truly awesome too, you just can't go wrong on them. Our Spuntinu/picnic was delicious and had a couple of items we hadn't tried before. Lots of wildlife, truly impossibly amazing views, great mixes of terrain and a real surprise from nature at the end. Worth every cent - a highlight of our 12 day...

We booked the sunset tour with an aperitif today, and it was a perfect evening. It was both our first time riding a quad, and with our guide, I felt more than confident tackling even the more challenging routes. You're rewarded with breathtaking views and a truly peaceful tranquility with a 360° view of the area. We stopped briefly in Piana to pick up some regional delicacies and drinks (a truly beautiful area) and then headed back uphill to watch the sunset while enjoying an aperitif. My fiance and I took the sunset tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. Boris is an excellent guide: very knowledgeable and passionate about the local area and conscientious regarding our safety. For example, always checking we were OK on the quad and recommending a stretch on which I could give driving a try (being less experienced!).
