Plage d’Arone is a beautiful and rather quiet beach in Corsica, far less crowded than many other spots on the island. The sand is soft and fine, and the water is crystal clear – perfect for swimming and relaxing.

There’s a small café right on the beach where you can grab a drink or snack, and they also rent out sunbeds and umbrellas if you want extra comfort. Snorkeling here isn’t particularly exciting, but the stunning view of the bay and the surrounding landscape means you’ll never feel bored.

Parking is convenient and close to the beach, and everything is very clean and well maintained. A great spot if you’re looking for a peaceful beach day with a...

Decent beach, but not Corsica’s best. The sand is a bit coarse, and during my visit the water had some seaweed plus a few bits of plastic. Still, the setting is pretty and there are several good restaurants within a short walk. Nice enough for a swim and lunch stop; if you want powdery sand and crystal-clear water, try...

Bezocht begin augustus '22 vanuit Porto.
