Cité Médiévale de Conflans — Attraction in Albertville

Conflans in November is absolutely beautiful. The leaves have changed color and the mountaintops have snow on them. There aren't very many other visitors during this time of year, which allowed us to explore the city quite freely. Arguably, the best view of Albertville is from the garden at the top of Conflans. Pour une cité médiévale, je m'attendais à autre chose pour en avoir dejà visité un bon paquet. Le village n'est pas vraiment mis en valeur. L'architecture n'a rien d'exceptionnel. Et le potentiel attractif et touristique des quelques points d'intérêt n'est pas exploité. Par exemple, le long de notre promenade, j'aurais aimé trouver des panneaux explicatifs parlant de l'histoire du village en général et de tel ou tel bâtiment en particulier, qui y vécut, que s'y est-il passé, de quoi vivait le village, quels métiers y trouvait-on, etc..Il y a beaucoup à faire pour valoriser ce village, y compris de la restauration afin que les bâtiments les plus intéressants puissent se visiter.

De plus, pour y être allé début juillet, tout ou quasi était fermé : glaciers, café, resto, artisans. Les 2 seules boutiques d'artisan n'étaient vraiment pas terrible, niveau qualitatif, à part quelques éléments. A améliorer de fond en...
