One of the plages from my favorites list. Spacious, has a lot of natural shade from trees, nice little bar with sensible prices and live music sometime. There are also big tables with benches if you arrive in the evening for picnicking dinner. Plage is good for paddle boards and bad for smokers as it’s no tabac plage. I wish some people could be more respectful to this rule, but thanks god the vast majority is. In the middle of the beach there is a cool mountains stream for those kids who like to build a dam. Read moreIt was a very beautiful place with beach. There is a direct bus 60 from Annecy Train station. It takes aproxx 40 to 45 minutes to reach this place. The view is very beautiful. The lake, waves, mountains. It’s so wonderful. It’s a good place to sit, relax, spend beautiful and memorable moments with friends, family or even being alone. This place is the must visit place for anyone coming to Annecy. While on the bus from Annecy station to Plage d’Angon, you will see many beautiful views. Read moreLovely beach for families. There is a little beach with a swimming area and lifeguards. Back from the beach a large grassy area offers trees for shade and a few picnic benches.
There is also a nice restaurant / snack bar.
Parking is paid parking via the Flowbird app. Some near the beach and some overflow parking across the main road.
You have to pay to accès the beach but it’s just a couple of euros each and they stop charging after around 4pm so lots of families come for the evening when it’s a bit cooler. The bar stays open until 8pm or...
