We had the pleasure of stopping at the âBig Red One Assault Museumâ on our way to L'Arromanches, and I must say, it is an unsung gem of a place. The museum is filled with rich history and poignant exhibits that pay tribute to the bravery of the soldiers who fought during the D-Day invasion. The owner, Pierre is incredibly knowledgeable and shared inspiring stories, including a few words in memory of my father, Danny, who landed there. I donât know the manâs name that owns the museum but he was very welcoming when we entered the museum was more than happy to tell us where aboutâs he found the museum relics.
