Fantastic place that, in addition to beautiful natural surroundings, also has lots of activities, both on and off the lake. Paddling, pedaloes, fishing, water activities for children and the option of just swimming over leaner distances are possible. Søens is an old gravel pit, and the bottom is a mixture of gravel and sand. There is good water depth for children, all around, and much deeper further out. The area around the lake's shore is a mixture of gravel and sand like the bottom of the lake, but it is surrounded by a large grass area, with both sun and lots of shade. There are public restrooms, but expect a wait. It is possible to buy ice cream and cold drinks, play mini golf and children between 3 and 6 years old can play in the outdoor play area. An approx. Read moreIt was a hot June day when we visited Lac de Passy. Refreshing, CLEAN, clean blue green water welcomed us. The shaded sitting areas were perfect for our 10month old. Parking was easy (and free). There are facilities on premise.
