Via Ferrata de la Cascade de Bérard — Attraction in Bonneville

We did it on the 22.9.23. It is very good ferrata. Mabne the best around chamonix! We enjoyed it very much! It is shorter that athiter ferratas. You park the car next to the main road and walk about 20 minutes in the wood to the starting point. Its start with a long napales bridge and right after start to climb to the wall steeply up. It is a bit teqnicaly and nice view of the waterfall. After that , another 3 long bridges and between them good ferata on the clif. Total of 1 hour of ferata. Add 20 minutes each direction to get and return..so totaly about 2 hours. At the end of the ferrta there is a nice...

Great via ferrata with excellent views over the waterfalls beneath. Slightly challenging, but still doable for teenagers.

Tip: Strangely enough there is no equipment rental on-site, and local point you to a skilift far away. But right at the bottom near the main road there appears to be a hostel called "Châlet Hôtel Skiroc", which has a banner hanging outside that mentions they provide equipment (helmet, harnas, and safety cord) for hire for just...

Did it in mid September. It's a great and beautiful 1 hour ferrata around the waterfall, only 20 minutes driving from Chamonix. The park itself is worth visiting, it has other walking trails and also a cafe just above the waterfall. They take only cash. The via ferrata itself is a bit technical and very exposed.
