France is littered with historical places of interest, but this ancient site is unique as you can also stay in one of their rooms.||We stayed over one night after a music show on the night, which included a pot-luck dinner. The attendees were extremely friendly and it was a hugely convivial evening.||The Abbaye owners are a wonderful couple, lovingly seeking to restore the site, and who are also very friendly and engaging. ||The following morning, we came down for breakfast, and were still there chatting three hours later. ||There is a great restaurant 2 minutes walk, and it is a good place to base yourself to walk/bike around.
