Lovely place to visit, very quiet and pleasant place to see. The size of the church is very deceptive, when you step inside you really get to feel how cavernous the place really is. There is some parking and there are a few cafes close by...

Un chef-d'oeuvre à voir et à revoir La collégiale est très belle à l'extérieur et même impressionnante. Le porche est richement sculpté, il mérite à lui-seul la visite. l'intérieur en impose par sa hauteur et comporte quelques jolies choses à voir même s'il possède peu de vitraux. Cet étonnant édifice où Saint-Martin serait mort le 8 novembre 397, mérite d'être vu et revu. Durant le voyage sur la Loire, les gens qui convoyait la dépouille du saint vers Tours virent fleurir les rives du fleuve, d'ou l'expression "été de la Saint-Martin" que l'on situe vers le 11 novembre, date de la Saint-Martin.
