Château de Bagnolet — Attraction in Cognac

Chateau de Bagnolet is one of the hidden gems of Cognac. The staff gave us a very warm welcome and then we had the chance to do a tour of the chateau. The garden is as big as you can imagine and the river and the sun made it look even more beautiful. The winter garden was another highlight of the property. We enjoyed our apertif at the seating overlooking the garden. It was an absolute delight to enjoy the sun with the Hennessy cocktail! Then we began with our lunch which included a starter, the main course and ofcourse the most delicious dessert! We also had the chance to meet the chef and his entire team and thank him in person. Pour avoir visité et bénéficié de ce château à quelques occasions, je voudrais demander à ceux qui mettent une ou deux étoiles et qui ne laissent aucun commentaire : "Etes-vous des gens courageux dans la vie pour exprimer un avis que beaucoup de lecteurs apprécieraient ou n'êtes-vous pas simplement des gens frustrés de ne pas avoir été invités". A le croire. Ce lieu est privé, ouvert au public lors des journées du patrimoine, et où, des clients, des membres du personnel ou invités de marque peuvent séjourner. C'est un lieu décoré avec goût dans un parc magnifique qui surplombe la Charente. Bref ... si les visites du public ne s'organisent pas encore (peut être un jour), sachez qu'on rêverait d'y passer un long séjour pour...
