Domaine Bott-Geyl — Attraction in Colmar-Ribeauvillé

Recommended by Jean Cristophe at Maison Vauron in New Zealand, four of us arranged a visit and were greeted like family. Valarie introduced us to husband Jean Christophe Bott, and although they were incredibly busy in the middle of the harvest, they made the time so that we had a great tour through the winery and had a generous tasting of the full range of superb Alsace wines. Amazing wines, stopped on our way to Italy for a quick tasting. We had a very warm welcome. Already knew the wines from buying in an auction, very delicate and great complexity. On our way back to Amsterdam stopped by again yo pick up a few boxes. Thanks again for all the help. Will definitely swing by again. A great way to kick off our time in Alsace. Jeremy was incredibly patient and informative, and the wines exhibited great minerality and fruit.
