We visited on a very hot day and the gardens were a lovely place to cool off and relax. They are immaculately tended with a large variety of flowering plants that were just beautiful. There are also parkland areas with lots of shade and benches for seating. It was similar to an English Country Garden and lovely to walk through soft green grass barefoot! Read moreWhat a lovely place to walk around. There is a car park situated outside the entrance and further past it, it has a lovely cafe to where you also pay for walking around the grounds. The staff are lovely and helpful. The walk around the garden i found quite enjoyable, the grounds also give good views looking over towards the 14th century Collegiate church of Saint - Pierre with its Cloister & Tower.
