Cascade des Anglais — Attraction in Corte

Just fantastic for our family with three kids. Suitable for youngsters or older kids. We walked from our AirBnB in Vizzavone. Looked like ample parking opportunities around Vizzavone if you drive from further out. We did this in early July on a Saturday and parking would not have been a problem at any point in the day. We stopped at the falls, although I would’ve liked to walk further up the canyon - it’s easy to stop and turn back wherever. In early July, there were several pools of various depths with hikers/day trippers lounging and swimming around. We found one we could safely do a 2 meter jump into! Relatively easy-moderate walk up from Vizzavone for all but the most limited in mobility. As someone else posted, you walk from Vizzavone and this spot is very well marked. You can easily figure it out just by driving to Vizzavone...

Well deserved reputation as one of the best walks (not hikes) on Corsica. We parked at the Vizzanova train station and walked to the trail head from there - about 500m. Everything is well signposted and the walk itself is more a gentle ramble of about 7.5km for the round trip or say 2 hours? Take wet weather gear as it can change very quickly. There are some rocky bits so the path is not accessible...

Après une randonnée à chemins multiples pour y accéder, on peut trouver plusieurs niveaux de piscines naturelles en remontant vers la cascade. Ce qui est très plaisant.

Venez cependant un MINIMUM ÉQUIPÉ en basket, tenue pour la randonnée (on n'était pas équipés et l'indication n'était pas très claire sur les differents chemins donc on s'est vite retrouvé dans les rochers en robe et maillot de bain seulement).

On a suivi la piste balisée jaune à l'aller (d'abord une grande montée avec un bon dénivelé, puis des ruines et enfin les rochers menant jusqu'à l'origine de la cascade directement) mais au retour on a emprunté la piste que la majorité des gens prenaient (rouge et blanche) menant au parc d'accrobranche à côté et passant par une paillote vendant snacks, sandwichs et boissons (N'ACCEPTE QUE L'ESPÈCE 💸) qui fait faire un plus grand détour de 20min.
