Plage de Puys — Attraction in Dieppe

We were there in 2021 coming back from Portugal and the vision of those young men landing on that beach to liberate France !!! Standing on the beach with the towering cliffs I can only imagine what was going through these young soldiers minds. The landing was an impossible task, pebble beach full backpack and weapons weighing them down feet sinking into the pebbles, its horrific what they went through. I never heard of Puys until we got there waiting for the ferry home from Dieppe, I will never forget the sacrifices these young men made in the name of freedom. May God Bless...

Based on other recommendations I' ve expected more. Limited parking places (which was ok) Some local CGPO's ( I call them "Chief Granny Police Officer" normally leaning on a window bench with a pillow) observing if you enter the beach with the doggo.
