Château de Gudanes — Attraction in Foix

I haven't actually visited this property but stay connected with the owner on their Facebook account. This is a really quality lady who is administering the renovation of this gorgeous property and she's doing so with such finesse and class. She's loved by many and has many followers. I expect to maintain ongoing contact long term, as many others do. It feels like a family there and we're all rooting for her rennovations and relish new photos that go up on Facebook and her official website. It's been a great experience and I would love to visit there one day. I encourage anyone who is interested in castles to visit their account on Facebook. This was a dream lived as I had been following this Chateau since 2014. Following the process and renovations over the years, made it a surreal experience to be there. Karina, her family, and the wonderful staff deserve all the accolades for the attention to the culinary experiences, lush table settings, and wonderful entertainment and activities. The Château-Verdun is nestled in the picturesque landscape of the Midi-Pyrénées, with it's rich history and beautiful architecture, which dates back to the 1200's, when it was first build as a fortress.
