Castle Park of Vizille — Attraction in Grenoble

The Castle Park of Vizelle is an excellent resource for the town. It starts with the formal gardens near the Chateaux, and then progresses to wilder areas and eventually the deer park at the far reaches. There are interesting art instalments throughout the park. Well marked paths, and exhibition areas. Ponds with wild fowl and fish. It is great resource for all the walkers, joggers who use the park. We managed to spend a day and half walking in it, viewing the art and just relaxing watching the Geese and fish. The deer are the far end of the park have a viewing hide so they can be watched...

The most incredible part/property I've been to! I've not had the chance to tour the museum yet, but the grounds provide hours of walking and enjoyment. There is a nice playground for all ages, pond with fish, Creek, and we even saw some deer. A great place to get out the daily...

Le château de la révolution française est paré d'un magnifique parc ! Les abords directs du château sont aménagés en jardins à la française : très géométriques, avec des parterres entourés de petites haies de buis bien taillées. Mais passé l'entrée et la cour du château, place au jardin à l'anglaise. De nombreux courts d'eau, entourés d'une végétation luxuriante "naturelle". Un régal pour les yeux. De magnifiques poissons très facilement observables par les enfants. Les canards et les oies sont légion ! Un régal de les voir décoller ou atterrir en bandes. Si vous n'êtes pas fatigués, une grande prairie s'ouvre ensuite à vous, amenant ensuite aux enclos aux animaux : notamment des daims et des cerfs ! En tout, 60 hectares de site naturel protégés. Cerise sur le gâteau : aussi bien le parc que la visite du château sont gratuites ! A voir et à revoir sans...
