Vélorail du Kreiz Breizh — Attraction in Guingamp

As a family, we really enjoyed our self-propelled ride on the Velorail du Kreiz Breizh. It was good fun. The journey is about 4.5km each way, partly uphill on the way out and down hill back. There is a chance to have a rest at the far end as they turn round the velorails on a turntable. However it's not too strenuous to peddle, even up hill, so suitable for most. After the starting station, the route is part shaded by trees, so out of the main heat of the sun in summer. Owners very friendly and welcoming. They explained to us in English how to use the velorail and the simple rules. There are only ten velorails on each 'timeslor' so advance booking is strongly recommended - all three velorail 'outings' were fully booked the day we visited in early August. Website easy to use in both French and English to book and pay. Good value as the cost is per velorail, not per person - a Velorail can be a maximum of two people peddling and two passengers. Le personnel est accueillant et l’endroit intéressant avec ses vireux trains. Cela dit, nous sommes partis sous un début d’orage et de fortes pluies. Nous n’avons pas osé redescendre et je crois que la ballade aurait dû être annulée par les organisateurs pour une question de sécurité (orage et vélo rail tout en métal ne font pas bon ménage). Nos filles étaient trempées et transies de froid et comme on ne peut pas revenir en arrière, il a fallut aller au bout du circuit avec deux enfants qui pleuraient. Heureusement au retour les organisateurs les ont prises en voiture pour se réchauffer (mais la petite est malade depuis…) Des réglages à faire donc selon nous malgré la sympathie et la passion...

Je met 1 étoiles car impossible d'en mettre 0. Dame très peu accueillante antipatique a mourir. On est arrivé sans réservation ( étant en vacance on a juste vu l'endroit sur google) ne sachant pas qu'il fallait réserver. Nous n'avons pas vu la milieu affiche qui annonçait complet à l entree nous sommes entre pour nous renseigner on s'est fait jeté comme des mal propre et tres...
