Must visit for all tourists to Martinique. A well-maintained mature preserve that showcases local ecology in a very enlightening and practical way. The mangroves are the feature and must be appreciated. The immense density of wildlife here will impress you, both flora and fauna. The trails are well-maintained and easy, though getting to the beach and the Caravelle viewpoint does take some walking.

A mad drive along rugged tracks which will make you think you’re going the wrong way on more than one occasion, stay with it you’ll be rewarded by having most of the beach to yourself.
