Must visit for all tourists to Martinique. A well-maintained mature preserve that showcases local ecology in a very enlightening and practical way. The mangroves are the feature and must be appreciated. The immense density of wildlife here will impress you, both flora and fauna. The trails are well-maintained and easy, though getting to the beach and the Caravelle viewpoint does take some walking.

Very tranquilizing, very tranquil, very peaceful. Lots of viewpoints along the trail, and really even the drive to the trail head from almost every corner of the island is scenic and interesting

While the trail is easy in the sense that there is little elevation variation, it can be humid here because of the mangrove ecology, expect to sweat a lot, so bring snacks and water as services are a bit scarce nearby. Bring water proof shoes if you plan on enjoying the hike, and 2 L...

One of the most beautiful preserved place in Martinique! It's so wonderful to "share" our breakfast with Georges every morning on the terrace facing THE 180° view. Then some lezard join us at any time to feel the hit. That is great nature. Of course we did not forget to take this great 1h30 round trip walk and swim at the Treasure's Bay. Then go back to the swimming pool. And when time comes for the sun to sleep, he gives you time to admire him and...

Stunning views and pristine sands if you head to the right beach (not the easy tourist one). A mad drive along rugged tracks which will make you think you’re going the wrong way on more than one occasion, stay with it you’ll be rewarded by having most of the beach to yourself. Just make sure you have plenty of water / snacks as there is nothing around. €2.50 per vehicle entrance and then a short walk across the mangrove swamp (can be a bit dodgy in places, be prepared to get a little dirty). Some great walks around...
