A very pretty, Long Beach. It is more crowded than some of the northern and/or less easily accessible beaches. Come early to get a good spot in the shade. The sand gets very hot to the touch at this beach. There are plenty of little snack restaurants/bars, but they close around 16:00. I walked to the end of the beach and continued into the woods. There are some small, more deserted patches of beach along the path, however I should note they have more nudity than the main beach does! Still highly...

🚨 BEWARE 🚨 - Drive your own/rented car here just as we did. In the case of transport by taxi, local drivers are nasty and can charge as much as 25 Euro.

Loooong and famous, sandy Martinique beach with palm trees and no rocks or algae. Just remember one thing to do when the sea tide is low. Otherwise, there won't be any beach left, since the seawater goes all the way up to the trees. Also, generally, restaurants are open just till...

This is one of the best beaches in the entire Caribbean. Being on a french island, it doesn't appear in any ranking because most Americans don't end up here. It's a very long, sandy beach with shallow water. Being so big and remote, it never feels busy. You have a big selection of restaurants where you can eat. There's plenty of shade under the trees. If you arrive early, like before 10AM, you can snap some...
