We arrived at the chateau around 15:30 and were fortunate enough to experience a tasting. Johnathan immediately sat us down in the dining room to start our tasting experience with no hesitation. He introduced us to some fantastic wines and explained each one in depth. His knowledge was extensive, and he showed a real passion for the wines (especially the 2016). We had already visited around 5 chateaus previously in the bordeaux, margaux, and Paulliac area that day, but this was the best tasting experience we had thus far. We are already looking forward to visiting the chateau and Johnathan again next year to secure as many 2022 wines...

Contratamos un tour de visita y degustación. Nuestro guía nos apresuró a lo largo tanto del recorrido como de la degustación. En el caso del recorrido se justificó un poco porque habíamos visitado antes su bodega hermana en Margaux; sin embargo la degustación no había motivo para apresurarla. Hicimos dieciséis visitas diferentes en Bordeaux durante esa semana, y esta fue por mucho la peor, las porciones eran ridículas para poder realmente apreciar los vinos. En función de lo que pagamos, comparados con otras bodegas de mucho mayor prestigio, sentimos que fue lamentable. Y lo inexcusable no fue tanto el tema del precio/calidad, sino la sensación de querer sacarnos lo más rápido posible de ahí por parte del guía. Supongo que por ser la última visita del día tenía...
