Thoroughly enjoyable!
My wife and I brought our 3 daughters here in July. The eldest 2 girls (9 and 8, and more importantly, 1.2m high) went on the junior course. I paid the adult adult package and initially accompanied them on the junior course before going onto the 'adult' course (must be over 1.4m high). My wife accompanied our youngest girl (free entry to applicable activities being only 2) around the kids' course.
All 3 girls thoroughly enjoyed the activities, including bungee-trampolining, mini-golf (the owner Patrick gave us this free, due to a mix-up earlier in the day), go-karting and (the main attraction) the tree-top course and zip-wire.
The site is easily accessible with ample parking. All activities are within a woodland setting and all the staff spoke perfect English (I try to speak French, but it's always nice to have safety instructions in your native language rather than muddle-through!). We even witnessed a rescue (where a boy had stepped off a platform and was suspended by his safety line and harness). It's reassuring to see how fast the team can access tree-top points mid-course with such ease.
On paper, it does seem a bit pricey, but we were told we could use the tree-top courses as many times as we like. Some of the attractions (the bungee-trampolining, for example) are a pay-per-go item, but that's because they are for a specific duration and require supervision.
If we're in the area again, we'd definitely pay...
Read moreA mixed experience. First off, we called about reservations and opening times as recommended on the website and got a very weird reply how he was not going there until 11am (which was also not the answer to our question on reservations). So we thought the opening time was 11am, but when we got there it had obviously been open for some time already. Very odd but in the end no problem getting in without a reservation.
More annoying is that if your child is under 1.40m there are only 2 very straightforward tree top courses they can do. This is not very clearly mentioned on the website. My son was missing a couple of cm and was disappointed not to be able to do any joint courses with his older brother. My husband and son were also a bit disappointed with the main course, it was a bit samey and not as challenging as others we've done. Considering that, it felt a bit over priced.
More unpleasantly, the toilets were not clean and there was no toilet paper. And the member of staff I talked to did not seem very interested in the problem.
As mentioned by others, credit cards are not accepted for amounts under €20, which is annoying.
Apart from the chap on the phone the rest of the staff on site were all quite pleasant, especially the team getting harnesses ready for the tree top course.
It's an ok if rather expensive...
Read moreExcellent new and fresh tree-climbing course at a respectable height above the ground, fun and quite challenging (but not really difficult) for normally trained adults and teenagers. There is also a good alternative (shorter and lower) course for smaller children and those who do not like heights. The adventure starts with a very good introduction with an instructor (French as well as English speaking) where you get familiar with the safety line (lifeline) and also have to go through a short mandatory practice course near the ground, to test hanging in the lifeline before you enter the real tree course (so you learn to rely on the lifeline and also get a realistic understanding of the difficulty). The course is divided into a handful different "stages", between which you go back on the ground for a short rest. Each stage takes around 20 minutes to climb if there is no congestion or queue, gives a good balance between concentrated climbing with excitement and time to catch ones breath and relax. We who climbed were six teenagers aged 11 to 14 and one adult, we all enjoyed the adventure! This is a good place to spend a few hours if you want a break from the beach (in the shade...
