STEALING STAFF PLZ READ:
At first I didn't think it was worth giving this theme park a review because of the terrible day out we had there on saturday the 26th of July. Let me break it down for everyone:
My 13 year old sister and my cousin (both young girls) went on "The Dark Dog" drop tower. Like everyone that goes on these rides they left their bags in the basket which is made especially for leaving your belongings that you do not want to bring onto the ride. Once they were told to get off the ride because it had broken down my sister went to retrieve her bag, and to her shock it was no longer there. The two girls alerted my aunt and they immediately questioned the staff that worked a that specific ride, instead of them helping out they began to laugh and locked the booth they were in at the ride. It was then that it became evident that the staff had infact stolen the bag which contained a brand new ipod touch 5th gen, a samsung galaxy phone, and 65 euros cash. Right from the off their behavior was very strange so my aunt went over to the entrance of Walygator to ask the staff over there for security, after 2 minutes of being there the bag was mysteriously handed to a member of staff by "two girls". "Oh great" you must think-- NO! a) The bag no longer had the iPod in or the 65 euros! b) How is it even possible that within two minutes of informing security two anonymous girls hand it in(the park is enormous and this story is very unlikely) and for the icing on the cake instead of helping out, to everyones shock(I was a witness to this) the staff at the entrance started laughing. After getting no where with these useless intolerant staff members we decided to call the police, something not many people do I guess. Anyway to cut a long story short we never got the ipod or money back and to our knowledge, we got no refund even though we had spent hours there and to top it all off, the thieving staff members got away with it. I would urge anyone reading this not to go and if you do go I would recommend you give your bags to someone you know that is not going onto the ride.
The actual theme park is OK at best, the park is seriously dirty and not well kept! The staff...well you know what I think of them! There are some ok restaurants the hygiene of the toilets is terrible. I would recommend this park for younger people rather than older teens.
Had to edit as they got this fair...
Read moreI went in high season and it was pretty empty, might have been because of the heat (was around 39°C) The entry price was alright.
So the park entrance area looks good and is themed and it was pretty clean around (except the toilets). All attractions were open that day and had no waits. Sounds good so far, but sadly that was almost everything good I could say. Their main big coaster, The Monster, is by far the only great ride in this park. Its a solid B&M inverted coaster with nice intensity. The fact that it had no wait, gave me the opportunity to ride it many times. Though sometimes I had to wait for more people, since they didnt wanna start the train with only 1 person in it. Also the area around the coaster is unthemed and looks deserted, the walkway to the coaster is nicely done though. The wooden coaster Anaconda is a trainwreck, one of the worst coasters I've been on. It looks like its falling apart, the layout is terrible, as the train barely crawls over the hills, its uncomfortable. Also the queue line looked like it was deserted for 10 years. Their other big coaster, Comet, was ok. Its an old school Vekoma. I thought it wasnt too rough and rather enjoyable but it looked in bad shape. For the water rides, I went on the Dino Splash rafting, which look recently updated but was rather boring. The Terror House was very disappointing, looks cool outside but is very short and boring. For their flat rides, the G-Lock is cool, is still pretty cool and their drop tower was also worth riding.
The food was not the greatest. Was a bit under average. At the end when I wanted to leave I learned that the staff failed to give me a coin for the parking gate (already paid!), unfortunately I was alread standing in front of the gate with my car and had to return.
After all I had to admit that its a kinda sad park, it has some nice maintained areas but also many deserted and outdates ones. The rides are mostly very old or bad as well except the monster. As an adult you might end up marathoning the monster and comet maybe. Else I cannot...
